Dentures are custom-made replacement teeth when a patient is missing one or more connected teeth. They can be removed and replaced at any time. Dentures can take a bit of time to adjust to, but they are a great way to replace missing teeth and restore the function of your smile.

Partial dentures are a great option for patients who are missing multiple teeth all in a row. They typically consist of metal framework, plastic and artificial teeth. The plastic portion acts as a replacement for missing gum tissue. The dentures are removable, but will have clasps or connectors that will connect it to your other teeth to secure it in place.

Dentures may feel awkward in the beginning as you get used to life with it in. The more you wear it, the easier the adjustment period will be. Practice inserting and removing your dentures so you can do this seamlessly.
